And just like that, the final piece I assisted on this season has had its premiere.

This process was joyful. There was a choir to dress and six soloists. Mozart's music was beautiful and it was incredible seeing all five of the singing roles having to face this musical challenge. In this production, I learned a lot more about the technical aspects singers face physically. The set design, costume, shoes, and movements of the singers all interfere with how well they can sing. Especially in a piece made up of so many Arias.


It still remained a hands on piece creatively. And coincidentally, this piece too let me take care of a bright, pink fan - reminding me of the rehearsal period for "La Cage aux Folles" not too long ago.
