We had a day trip down to London where we were shown around in two different West End Theatres.
The trip began with seeing the Test runs of props from the set of "Phantom of the Opera" in Her Majesty's Theatre, followed by being spun around on the Revolve on the set of "Les Miserables" in Queen's Theatre.
Due to copyright we are not allowed to issue many images of the sets themselves, however being shown around behind the stage and sitting in the auditorium, we were introduced to the aspects of a theatre managers roll throughout the process of design and performance.

Besides this, towards the end of the day we stopped by the National Theatre which was holding a small exhibition about Set design and making of the models. There were a few impressive models and a broken down tutorial of the process of making and designing a new world set into an indoor space.
